5th TWAS-ROLAC Young Scientists Conference
The 5th TWAS-ROLAC Conference for Young Scientists will take place at the headquarters of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences in Rio de Janeiro, May 4th - 6th, 2009.
This 5th edition will focus on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Earth and Space Sciences.
In each of these fields, a number of speakeres, seleceted from the brightest young researchers in Latin America and the Caribbean, will make a 20min presentation of their results, thus conveying a survey of the current stat of the field in the region.
The speakers will include the awardees of the 2009 TWAS-ROLAC Prize for Young Scientists, that will receive the prize during the Conference.
