| Biography | | A.D.Panek is Full
Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Institute of Chemistry, Federal
University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, since l976. She obtained her PhD degree
at the same University in 1962. She is also a Research Scientist at the
National Research Council since 1961. Her honours include: Prof. Emeritus,
1995. Commander of the Order of National Scientific Merit, 1996. She is a
member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Rio de Janeiro, and of the Latin
American Academy of Sciences, Caracas, Venezuela. |
