| Biography | | Paulo A.S. Mourão was
educated at Escola Paulista de Medicina in São Paulo, Brazil where he obtained
his MD in 1975 and PhD in 1977. He is
currently Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the Federal University
of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Investigator of the Brazilian National Research
Council (CNPq). He was previously: Assistant Professor of the Connective Tissue
Laboratory at the Clinical Hospital of São Paulo State University from 1979-80;
Associate Professor in the Department
of Biochemistry at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from
1981-92. His membership includes: Associate Fellow of the Brazilian Academy of
Sciences and Member of the Brazilian Biochemical Society and the American
Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. |
