| Biography | | Dr. Charreau is
President of CONICET, the Argentine National Council for Science and
Technological Research, Senior Researcher at CONICET and Director of the
Institute of Biology and Experimental Medicine - IBYME. He has been Instructor,
Assistant, Associate and Full Professor in the Dept. of Biological Chemistry at
Buenos Aires University from 1960-2006. He is an endocrinologist whose research
includes important observations in receptor regulation and function on normal
physiological and pathological states. He has received several awards from
national and international organizations and has been a Visiting Scientist and
Professor at institutions in the USA, Europe and South America. He is a Member
of the Academies of Medicine and Natural, Physical and Exact Sciences of
Argentina. |
