| Biography | | Dr. Paladini was
educated at the Univ. of Buenos Aires (PhD, Pharmacy and Biochemistry, 1946).
He is Emeritus Professor at the Univ. of Buenos Aires in Argentina and Head of
the Instituto de Química y Fisicoquímica Biológicas (IQUIFIB) of the Natl.
Research Council, Argentina. His previous positions include: Full Professor of
Biological Chemistry (1959-85) in the School of Pharmacy and Biochemistry,
University of Buenos Aires; Research Fellowships in Argentina and USA; and
Director, Ctr. for the Study of the Hypophysical Hormones at the Univ. of
Buenos Aires (1966-63). His awards include the Fundacion Campomar Prize for
Biochemical Research Achievements (Buenos Aires), and the Konex Prize in
S&T, Buenos Aires. His membership includes: Natl. Academy of Exact
Sciences, Cordoba, Argentina; Royal Academy of Pharmacy, Spain; and Latin American
Academy of Sciences. |
