| Biography | | Dr. Manuel
Limonta-Vidal is head of Biotechnology development and science adviser at the
National Institute of Hematology, Cuba, First and Second degree specialist in
Hematology and Professor at the Medical University of Havana. He has previously
been the Founder and Director General of the Center for Biological Research
Cuba and the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Cuba 1986- 99.
His honours include: Dr. honor Causa Universidad Central Ecuador; Medal
Comendador Merito Cientifico Brazil; 3 national medals recognition from
National Sciences Trade Union of Cuba; and Member of the editorial Boards of 5
scientific journals including Biotecnología Aplicada, Cuba. He is member of 12
national and international scientific and medical associations and other
academies. |
