| Biography | | Professor Di Prisco was educated at the Universidad Central de Venezuela from 1966-71 and MIT from 1971-76. He is Investigator Titular at IVIC in Caracas, Venezuela, and Professor Titular at the Universidad Central de Venezuela. He previously held a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship from 1991-92. He is a mathematician who is considered one of the most active and influential logicians working today. He has been awarded the Annual Prize in Mathematics by CONICIT, Venezuela, in 1980 and the Lorenzo Mendoza Fleury Prize by Fundacion Polar in 1983. He is a Member of the Academia de Ciencias Fisicas, Matematicas y Naturales in Caracas, Venezuela. |
